Pet Policy

  • We understand pets are part of the family. If you wish to travel with your pet, please contact us before booking so we can assist you with suitable arrangements.

Responsible Tourism

Lachung is part of a fragile Himalayan ecosystem. During your visit, please:

✓ Avoid littering in Yumthang Valley, Zero Point, and surrounding areas

✓ Carry reusable water bottles whenever possible

✓ Respect local customs, traditions, and religious sites

✓ Avoid disturbing wildlife and natural habitats

✓ Dispose of waste responsibly

Mobile Network & Connectivity

  • Mobile connectivity in Lachung can be limited. BSNL generally offers the most reliable network coverage, while other networks may have weak or intermittent signals. Internet speeds may vary depending on weather and network conditions.

Shared Spaces

  • Our dining area, outdoor seating spaces, and common areas may be shared with fellow travelers. We encourage guests to relax, connect, and enjoy the warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere of our homestay.

Electricity & Power Supply

  • Power interruptions may occasionally occur due to weather conditions in the mountains. We recommend carrying a fully charged power bank and keeping essential devices charged whenever possible.

Weather & Clothing

Temperatures in Lachung can drop significantly, even during summer evenings.

We recommend carrying:

✓ Warm jackets and thermal wear

✓ Woollen caps, gloves, and socks

✓ Comfortable walking shoes

✓ Sunglasses and sunscreen

✓ Personal medications

If you plan to visit Zero Point, additional winter clothing is strongly recommended due to sub-zero temperatures.

Meals

Freshly prepared home-cooked meals are available at the homestay. Since supplies are transported from lower regions, we encourage guests to inform us in advance about any dietary preferences or special meal requirements.

Health & Altitude

Some visitors may experience mild altitude-related discomfort due to the elevation. To stay comfortable:

✓ Stay hydrated

✓ Avoid excessive physical exertion on arrival

✓ Eat light meals

✓ Consult your doctor before travel if you have respiratory or heart-related conditions
